Craig Schiller

Craig Schiller has 11 years of experience in the banquet and special events industry. In early "2000" Craig went to work at Golden Wings Museum, located at the Anoka County Airport in Blaine, Minnesota. Over the years he has managed a stream of special events, the facility and it's collection of vintage aircraft. Mr. Schiller is in charge of marketing, accounting, expenditures, purchasing, billing and facility maintenance and operations. He designed company flyers and brochures and maintains the company website. In September of 2003, he also helped to organize and direct the daily operations of the National Air Tour. This tour was a 19 day event traveling over 4,000 miles to 26 cities with over 30 vintage aircraft and 80 members.

Mr. Schiller has 3 years of experience as the Director of Operations of the Polar Aviation Museum. From 1996 to 1999 he managed the day to day operations of this public museum. He handled marketing duties, accounting, expenditures, purchasing and billing. He helped organize public special events and private banquets, which included working with event planners, caterers, rental companies and production companies. He also established and maintained the donation and inventory program, designed and developed museum displays (including WWII aircraft, classic and modern sports cars, classic boats and motorcycles) and handled daily site logistics and maintenance. He also developed and maintained the volunteer program. Mr. Schiller is a licensed private and instrument pilot. He also serves as a member of the board of directors for the Discover Aviation Days organization. Mr. Schiller has been flying out of Anoka County Airport for over 20 years.

By the end of 2004, the collection at Golden Wings had increased. Intern, space for the events decreased and the company had to withdraw from the event hosting industry on a regular basis.  Realizing the high demand for event space, Craig sought the opportunity to strike out on his own with a business venture with plans to own and operate a new facility housing three entities, an event center, gift shop and restaurant.

David Williamson

David Williamson been retained as a consultant for his expertise in logistics and development of companies. Mr. Williamson retired from General Electric Company after 33 years of service providing technical and management assistance to install and maintain power generating equipment. During that time, he held positions in the international division as Lead Field Engineer, Service Manager and Manager of Engineering. These positions required extensive technical experience as well as experience in budget management and preparation, and establishing goals and objectives to promote business growth. After leaving General Electric Company, he formed an engineering consulting company and worked with domestic and international utilities, providing scheduling and maintenance management service for power generating equipment. Mr. Williamson volunteered at the Polar Aviation Museum for three years until the museum closed. For the past 9 years, he has worked at Golden Wings Museum where he has gained experience in supporting and preparing a variety of large events. Mr. Williamson lives in Forest Lake and is a board member and President of a home owners association.

Harvey Karth

Harvey Karth has been retained as a consultant for the   Company. Mr. Karth is 66 years old. He was born and raised in Minnesota, and has been married for 40 years to his wife, Kathy. From 1976 to 1977 he was on the board for city council and from 1978 to 1979 Mayor of Lino Lakes. He has 14 years experience in Real estate sales and land development. Harvey has 14 years as a member of Lino Lakes Lions Club and has been a resident of Lino Lakes since 1974. In the Fall of 1989, Mr. Karth and his partner started an independent 200 seat family style restaurant, with catering services, located in Circle Pines, MN. The restaurant employed 28 staff members and operated 7 days per week, with business hours of 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday–Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Mr. Karth credits the restaurant’s success on his partner’s and his ability to anticipate what their customers wanted in terms of food, service, atmosphere and price. This included working with suppliers who were able to obtain a good price on the best food supplies, hiring good staff members and constant monitoring of the restaurant. Mr. Karth and his partner built the restaurant up to a half million dollar a year business. In 1994, Mr. Karth and his partner sold the restaurant due to his partner’s retirement.

Mr. Karth’s interest in aviation began in 1962, while in the Aviation Battalion of the Army. Mr. Karth also worked for Northwest Airlines, Anoka County Airport, Polar Aviation Museum and Golden Wings Museum. Mr. Karth is currently retired, but still works part time in sales to keep in step with the times.
